THE STORY BEHIND CURRENT

I’m Stephanie, the founder of CURRENT.

In 2016, my life changed in a way I never could have imagined when I lost my husband. Grief has a way of changing your perspective. It reminds you how precious life is and how important it is to take care of ourselves, not just for today, but for all the days we hope to have ahead of us.

That experience deepened my desire to help people live their healthiest, strongest lives. That belief became a huge part of my work as the owner of Horwitz Health & Fitness in Connecticut.

Inside that gym, something special happened. Through small-group strength training, women came together to do more than work out. They built friendships, encouraged one another, celebrated their wins, and discovered strength they didn’t always know they had.

Closing that chapter didn’t mean leaving those beliefs behind. It meant finding a new way to carry them forward.

why current?

The name CURRENT represents movement, strength, and the ability to keep moving forward through every season of life.

Just like the current of the ocean, life is always moving and changing. We can’t always control where it takes us, but we can choose how we move through it.

CURRENT is about finding your own strength, embracing where you are today, and continuing to grow into the strongest version of yourself.

why Online Coaching?

I believe strength training should fit into your life, not the other way around.

Online coaching allows me to bring the same personalized attention, encouragement, and accountability I offered in my gym to women wherever they are.

Whether you’re working out at home, in a gym, or navigating a busy schedule, your program is designed specifically for you, your goals, and your lifestyle.

With individualized workouts, weekly check-ins, and ongoing support, you’ll never feel like you’re doing it alone.

Because this is more than a workout program. It’s an opportunity to build strength, find connection, and keep moving forward, one day, one decision, and one rep at a time.
